The The Zine Volume 5 Issue 6

It appears the creative push is coming on strong in the last 3rd of this year. We have some amazing work to show you including three powerhouse comic making talents and three great writers with epic works.
The second chapter of Tang’s Not My Prince is here. I told you in the last issue how smooth her work reads and how clean and professional it looks. Here she digs a little deeper into her plot reflecting our unspoken rules concerning the relationships between boys and girls and a little modern day exploration of the concept of slavery.
Robbert Griffen and Hanna Moreno team up for a short commentary on NASCAR racing.
A.I. is returning with a new story Thicker Than Water continuing to explore her love of classic narratives and character driven stories. What happens when a royal family is torn apart by greed and a thirst for power. The expressions in this section are wonderful and she uses them to great effect to help her mute protagonist communicate.
Take a short break with some portraits by Star and Nalee.
Then Suzu has allowed us to publish one of the many stories she has been working on and hiding away Your Scent For Eternal. It is a tale of vampires and dark angels depicted with a fluid layout structure and strong flowing lines. We are printing her original pencils at 100% of their original size so you can appreciate how tight and smooth her art is and how delicate it can be. I’d like to draw special attention to page 39, which is a favorite of many club members and it’s rumored that Suzu is fond of it herself.
Mukey is starting Chapter three of Cold War. We have yet to determine if we are going to publish this chapter in two parts or three. This continues to be a great story and I always look forward to editing it. Here she lets us learn a little more about the mysterious Tsukiko and we finally find out what happened to Zero and Koden after the last cliffhanger ending.
Mukey also closes the issue with our back cover drawn with an expectation towards a great summer.
Zezee is starting a great vampire tale Revenge Taken in Blood accompanied by illustrations she created herself. A very talented creator with her own style and approach to the world she also drew the cover for this issue. Her work is polished, but also shows a love for experimentation and a searching for new and surprising forms.
Larka is continuing Shadows Within the Soul where friends are reunited and gifts continue to emerge for our protagonists. There is darkness in this story and I have a feeling it is going to continue getting darker. Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha… ha… errr.
Ok enough of this! Are you here to read about me reading what you are about to read or are you hear to read it!?!
