Good News. Bad News.
Happily I am accepted as an Editor to HmoobTeen!!! YAY!! Celebration to me on Monday! (nothing special, but hopefully the first issue will come out finally!! ^^
Bad news... I sent in "Konoha's Daily Life" in as a piece of example... and I think they might consider publishing it in their next issue... is that gonna be a copyright issue for the Zine or anything??

The Zine has no copyright. XD Put your work wherever you want, copyrights only take effect if you're trying to sell something, really. And if you're worried about them having a copyright over your work, well, that wouldn't surprise me at all. Should have thought of that earlier, don't you think? You should try to avoid putting Konoha's Daily Life in the zine at all of you're really worried about it.Posted 2 years ago #

If it's already in well then, let's just see what happens.Posted 2 years ago #

I know, I wish Andy would show up here more often. DX It would really help. Anyways, no, the Zine isn't copyrighted but the Hmoodteen thing might be.Posted 2 years ago #

I know that HmoobTeen is... but if they're going to republished it or not, I don't know. I just want to make sure that if the Zine is copyrighted that in my first meeting if the issue is brought up that I should speak up and say that it is already copyrighted to the Zine. Cause if not, then I can just tell them to go right ahead and do it, no problem.Posted 2 years ago #

Every piece published in The The Zine is copyrighted. Those copyrights belong to the people who created the piece. Every time you make something you own the copyright to that piece. You can learn more about it on Wikipedia.
The The Zine has no problems with you publishing work that you submitted to The The Zine in HmoobTeen or anywhere else you would like to submit or sell that work. Harding Comic Club and The The Zine are there to publish and promote your work and are happy if you can find more venues to distribute that work. HmoobTeen may have issues with you publishing the work in The The Zine and in those cases let us know and we will cease any further distributions of that work.
Congratulations on your new position as editor at HmoobTeen!Posted 2 years ago # -
