COMIC CLUB RULES for professional behavior:
To participate you must be in the room.
You are allowed to leave and enter Comic Club at two times: from 2:00-2:20 and during a recess from 3:30-3:50 at any other time if you choose to leave Comic Club you will not be readmitted.
Limited physical contact between members is encouraged.
Permitted physical contact is limited to: handshakes, elbow shakes, fist bumps, high-fives, and touching of the shoulder or arm to get someone’s attention.
We encourage conversation when presentations are not being made.
Please keep conversations at a respectable volume so that others may talk. If there is a great volume of students in the room we may ask that conversations be held in a whisper.
Presentations are made at the discretion of the adviser. When the room is called to order you will have a count of 3 to conclude conversations. During presentations only one person may speak at a time.
Maintain a positive and constructive attitude towards the club and its members.
It is important to the success of the club that it remains a positive environment for its members and a positive image is maintained.
Harsh criticism and complaints concerning the club or its members can be addressed with the adviser privately or in writing.
REPERCUSSIONS AND ENFORCEMENT:
Anyone found to be in violation of these rules will be asked to leave the club meeting for the day, but can return for future club meetings. The Adviser/Teacher may choose to give one warning concerning the violation of a rule before ejection from the club or choose immediate ejection from the club at the Adviser/Teacher’s discretion.
All rules are enforced at the Comic Club Adviser/Teacher’s discretion.
These rules may be changed at the discretion of the Comic Club Adviser/Teacher at any time.
