From Reader to Mangaka!

I am suggesting a interview like thing of where readers can ask mangakas of The The Zine and it's other series whatever questions that their hearts desire. Or a daily/weekly/monthly article of a particular or popular mangaka of The The Zine. This will help readers learn a little bit more about their fav. mangakas and the reason behind certain stories.

I think that sounds great. So you want it in Article form or in Video form?
Anyway, we still need to find the right kind of people to do that. I'm sure this falls under our PR guy, correct?

I think it will be better in article form. It wouldn't take as much time as a video would and would be easier to edit than a movie.

I'm in agreement with Yura that this would be better in article form. Konoha has a good point as well: this would be a great assignment for our new PR person.

There goes 'Stick Boy's first assignment. Anyway, I think we could do it both ways? I don't mind doodling with Video stuff. It could be good to post it up at school so people would actually know more about Comic Club. But this might work better as a video doc. than an interview, right?
So is the PR going to be the interviewer or is he just assigned to oversee the project? And should the article be put into the the Zine, or the Beacon? Or both? Or do we do a completely different edition for it?

These are all really good questions and I think we should leave it up to Stickboy/Toothpick to figure out how it should be done.

It could be produced as a press release sent to the Beacon, or if someone is on the Beacon staff they could do it.

As far as video goes it's a great idea, I just didn't want to invest my time in video work, but if someone else wants to put it together we can see if the school will let you present it in some way, or at the very least host the video on the website.

could we maybe get help from video production if you want to do the video? ??? if you do the video....could it be funny? most people dont really pay attention to interveiws...sooo comedy (or action) might be a good way to get some attention. (just throwing out some ideas.... dont need to pay attention to me... :'(....no... its all good... 8) )

well, I was in Video Production before so I can doodle well with their programs. I'm not sure, with Pilot being the only teacher that he is willing to stay after school and let us work this out. If you all want we can have our PR next year right him a proposal letter and see if Pilot agrees to it or not.
Another idea would be just making the video the VERY old way, MovieMaker/iMovie. But that takes longer and much defects won't be taken out from the movie.

As to making the movie funnier--it all depends on our Director or PR guy, or whoever is in charge of the movie and HOW the want the audience to see Comic Club as. But then again, Comic Club is meant to be funny, so whatever. Right?

Anyway, in short if you guys want I can offer to be the person in charge of making the movie. But I want our PR to oversee this project--MEAN TOOTHPICK YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF ALL PAPERS AND SITUATIONS THROUGHOUT!!!

It sounds fun, but I don't know. I'm not that great of a realized mangaka yet... But I'm willing enough to do it. :)
