I have to admit that I really like Yuu Watase's drawings and artwork.

I liked her story Alice 19th.  It was pretty easy to follow and kind of sad, but really good. :P

Then, there was Fushigi Yugi: The Mysterious Play.  I loved how she drew her guys!  They are so hot.  ;)  I don't really know your opinions, but yeah...  And her shojou manga, Zettai Kareshi(Absolute Boyfriend) was such a cute comedy.  I never finished her other series though(Ayashi no Ceres AKA Ceres Celestial Legend)!!  :'(  Disappointment there.
Then, there's her new one: Fushigi Yugi Genbu Kaiden...  I only read past chapter 3 or 4... -_-'

What do you guys think about Yuu Watase??

Alice 19th was the first series I read of that person. I do like the story, but the art becomes repetative *has seen/read a LOT of romance manga* I know a lot of people disagree with me. Well, I need new glasses, literally.

Hm... I don't know for sure cause her drawings looked the tiniest bit different in zettai kareshi...

Other than that, I've read her series so much that I can't tell much of the differences.  Nana might say the same.  :-X

Hm... well, I don't think her drawings are "repetative" from other mangaka, because she's actually one of the oldest (or more original, like Rumiko Takahashi) of the shojo world. Aside from this I think the only manga I haven't yet read at least the littlest part would be Zettai Kareshi, because I generally think it's a little stupid for such a damn desperate girl to "order" a boyfriend online. Mostly since you're a teenager. I mean, if you can make your own boyfriend completely the way you want to, then what the heck is the whole point of "dating" anyway? They'll always been too perfect for you to ever have a fight, and you will only learn to lean on them for help rather than learn your own independence. (etc.)
Hm... Fushigi Yugi: Mysterious Play, LOVED IT! Hated the girl rivalry. Favorite character (his name I forgot) is the guy with the flamed here, he has the fans and the powe of fire. He is, in short, HOT! <<short-tempered character admirer ^^ ))
Ayashi no Ceres, okay, skipped parts. Really got annoyed, somewhat "DRAMATIC" with the damn fairytale and the past and falling in love with... Tama (was that his name?) and then the pregency at the end, and etc... messed up storyline, but gotta give her points for being able to make a messed up storyline like that. (I agree, quite a disappointment)
Genbu Kaiden, read parts but didn't like it as much. Totally love it that her love intereset is the short-temper guy thought ^^ (only read volume one and I'm pretty sure that's how it came out as )
Imadoki, Nowadays, LOVE THE STORY! So sweet!
Never read Nana, seemed kinda weird.
Alice 19th, only wish I could still continue. It's getting REALLY interesting though.

All in all, Yuu Watase is a great mangaka. Her work is actually one of the first in which I started off when I went down the Manga/Comic path. First is Rumiko Takahashi, then in short, Shounen Jump, and then Yuu Watase.

RE to Konoha: Well, in Zettai Kareshi, she didn't actually believe they would do it. I don't think I can really blame her for that. :P

And I could lend you Alice 19th. I bought the whole thing. :P  Yes, I'm am manga collector, I can't rlly help myself. :P

And I did start with Yuu Watase when I went down the anime/manga road myself, except I also read Wedding Peach and W-Juliet to begin with.  So, you can say that she was one of the first few mangakas whose mangas I read. :P  And she is one of the oldest originals in shojo manga, she is 39 years old after all. That seems pretty old to me... O_o  I love her artwork, tho! >.<

Konoha was actually the one who showed my Alice 19th. ^^ We were at the library and she had managed to find the first book (Gasp!). So, once she was done, I read it. :3 I liked it enough to go ask the librarians to order the rest for me. XD The art was great. :3 And the story line was a bit weird and a bit annoying at some points but I still loved it. ^^

You can lend it to Pres. Star, I actually don't have the interest for Alice 19 right now.

She wants to lend me out the rest of Alice 19th. But I'm saying right not I'm not interested in reading Shojo. Not that I'm not intersted in it.
