The Comical Tragedy.

Even with the most intense publishing schedule of any zine crew to date a high volume of work is still coming in! We even held a vote and decided to keep our bi-weekly deadlines! I’m so excited I forgot what periods are for!

To add to the exciting news a forum has been added on a trial basis to the website HSCCLUB.NET where we can discuss comic club! We’re still working out details and any suggestions for improvements to the site would be appreciated! Read more…

Love & Pain: Romance & Horror.

Aaahhh February! Soon it will be Valentines day and with this day comes hearts and arrows; roses and chocolates, but we here at The The Zine are not so optimistic about this dark holiday feigning innocence. Valentines day is the day when hearts are broken, arrows are sharp, and the roses have thorns. Not to mention that anyone expressing true long term affection would pack you a healthy lunch not a box of chocolates! The The Zine Volume 4 Issue 1

We are very excited to bring you a variety of stories written by students in the Harding Comic Club. I want to bring special note to the first few pages featuring work by some of the most talented cartoonists to ever go to Harding High school.

On page 1 is a great piece by Lu² a senior who had very strong story telling skills as a freshman. She has continued to solidify a clean visual style and improve her storytelling as you can see in her piece “Zombie Romance”. Her sharp dry wit really shows in this quick little story and it is a joy to read. Read more…
